When I tell people I work from home they usually seem surprised, then curious, astounded often follows, and then the questions begin. While I enjoy talking about my dream job and all the benefits of working from home, I also have three children needing my attention as well as farm chores or horses that need worked. I simply can’t take the time to talk or email each and every person, even though I’d like to. So I created this site and have compiled my personal experiences along with helpful links. I hope it answers most of your questions but if not, you can reach me at Lisa@LisaWorksFromHome.com and I promise to get back to you as soon as I can.
I was pleased to help with media appearances for LiveOps and have included links under the “My Appearances” categories. If you’re interested in an interview or a guest appearance regarding working from home, I would love to help and you can reach me at the email above.
I live in Goessel, Kansas on a 100 year old 20 acre farm with my husband, Ed, and our three boys. Our pet cow and her calf, our own horses and our boarders’ horses, and blue egg laying chickens also reside here with us. My days are spent doing farm chores, kids’ activities, training horses, long trail rides, and working in my home office. It just doesn’t get any better than that because my job works around my family, not the other way around. If you want to read more about life on our farm and see some pictures please visit me over on our family website Crazy Cow Country Farm.
